(BOSTON - May 4, 2018) Terry Ryan is officially on the ballot as a candidate for state senator representing the 1st Middlesex District.
Ryan filed his nomination papers on May 4 with the required signatures, which were then certified by the Secretary of State's office. For each political office, state law has assigned a minimum number of certified signatures required for ballot access. Candidates for state senator are required to submit at least 300 certified signatures.
"We are so proud of and grateful for the amazing organizers and volunteers who put in the miles collecting signatures across the district," Ryan said. "Public service is a privilege and a trust. If given the honor to serve as state senator, I will work tirelessly every day to represent and fight for the hardworking individuals and families of the 1st Middlesex District."
